How come this article doesn't even mention the Republicans attempting to tack on approval of the Canadian pipe line to this bill? Talk about Special Interests meddling with the survival of the unemployed! How blatant can you get?

1) Why does the "news"always focus on the drama? Why not interview some of the protesters and see why they are there? Fair and balanced?

Maybe we are beginning to see the effects of Corporate Banksters vs. "Occupiers". This is what the protest is all about. These lenders just about gave loans away to those who could not afford them. They enticed them into huge debt. Yes, the buyer was not "bewaring", for sure.

The fact that the banks got the bail out is only the tip of the iceberg. The fact is the people in charge of the banks and hedge fund operations and Wall Street made criminal decisions that ruined our economy.

I am one of the older ones (68)...I wasn't able to save for my retirement until my kids were through college. Since then I've lost a huge percentage of my meager savings in 2000 and again in 2008.

It was the "occupiers" that inspired me into action. Bless them. And let's just hope the violence abates...not smart.

My bank used to be local until bought out by a Big Bank. It was not the fees that concerned me, it was the fact that the CEOs and executives of this BIG bank, and most other banks, are taking such big salaries and bonuses.

I certainly hope the Tea Party folks who might be affected by this Hurricane don't expect the Federal Gov't to help them out. I don't suppose they are watching the info on the Web provided by some of the high tech GOVERNMENT gizmos.
